Twenty four seminars from WorshipGod09: From Generation to Generation are now available at the Sovereign Grace Ministries website. And they’re all free.
I’ve listed some of the seminars you can choose from below. Click on the title to download the MP3. You can also visit the Sovereign Grace Ministries website to download the pdfs or check out more seminars.
Clean Hands and a Pure Heart – Pat Sczebel
Thoughts on how we can weaken the power of indwelling sins like envy, lust, anger, and pride by pursuing greater satisfaction in Christ.
Developing a Music Academy for God’s Glory – Ken and Rachael Boer
Speaking from their experience at Covenant Life Church, Ken and Rachael share the challenges and joys of seeking to raise up skilled servant musicians from the next generation through a church-based music academy.
Do You Thirst for God? – Donald Whitney
Don Whitney describes the differences between the empty soul, the dry soul, and the satisfied soul, and helps you understand how God initiates a thirst for him so that he might fulfill it.
First Things First: Maintaining Priorities on and around the Worship Team – Julie Kauflin and others
How does a mom of young children manage life at home while seeking to serve on the worship team? When is it time to take a sabbatical and when is it time to press through in faith? This seminar features women from different seasons of life who have faced these questions and found ways to maintain God’s priorities on and around the worship team.
Keyboardists: From Notes to Charts – Bryan Deitrich
The goal of this seminar is to help classically trained pianists interpret guitar charts effectively and find a part to play within the context of a contemporary band sound.
Let All the People Be Glad: Corporate Worship and Expressiveness – Bob Kauflin
This seminar addresses the role, importance, and limitations of bodily expression in corporate worship.
Overcoming the Fear of Man – Craig Cabaniss
In this biblically insightful seminar, Craig talks about the danger, deception, and delusion of the fear of man and how you can experience deliverance through the gospel.
Reviving the Hymns – David Ward
David Ward, who has been writing new tunes for hymns for ten years through ReformedPraise.org, shares what he’s been learning about reviving hymns while still appreciating what previous generations have passed on to us.
What Are You Talking About? What to Say When You’re Not Singing – Bob Kauflin
Some worship leaders talk too much, some too little. This seminar deals with how to determine when to say something that will serve those you’re leading, as well as what, how, and why to say it.
Worship in the Valley – Matt Mason
Whatever role you play in the public worship ministry of your church, there are times when you don’t “feel” like standing up in front of a congregation and leading them in worship. Matt Mason knows what that’s like, as he was a worship pastor in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. Matt shares from his own life, and more importantly from the Word of God, how we can find faith to praise God in the midst of adversity.

Thank you – this is such a great resource! I’m looking forward to listening to seminars that I wasn’t able to attend, as well as re-listening to those I was.
Thank you Bob, I cannot express what a blessing your ministry has been to me. I just finished teaching a summer series on Worship out of John 4 and your work was an incredible resource to me.
I was unable to raise the funds to take our Worship Leaders to WorshipGod09 (from Canada) and these FREE resources are priceless.
Thanks again.
Bob,
Thank you so much for the abundannce of MP3 files. The generosity of Sovereign Grace Ministries is truly a blessing that honors the Lord.
SDG,
Greg Rusco
Thank you so much for your servant heart. I appreciate your willingness to help worship leaders in the conference and even after the conference. What a blessing this is.
You guys rock! Thanks from down under!
Many thanks and praises to God for this wonderful ministry!
Your generosity in giving away the knowledge you have accumulated over the years is a huge blessing.
Also, our worship teams at my church are currently reading ‘Worship Matters’ and are finding it to be a great resource. We have monthly discussions going through 3 chapters per meeting.
On a personal note, I found it to be the most helpful in terms of addressing day to day worship team issues and just how to handle team dynamics and roles.
I find that not addressed a lot and was relieved when you wrote about your experiences being in and leading a worship team. It was nice to know that I’m not alone in this endeavor.
Thanks you very much. By the way, Bob, would there be a video (DVD or whatever) available anytime soon? I hope there will be as the things you’re talking about here are very helpful, specially to us who weren’t able or have difficulty attending such conferences. I shared this to our worship team and they were really blessed, they just said it would have been better if it was on video as it would be easier to grasp. Anyway, thanks again.
Jun,
We’re planning on posting some of the videos from WorshipGod09 on Vimeo in the near future. Thank for asking.
This is a great resource, I’m going to be sharing it over on http://www.worhsipministrycatalyst.com. Thanks for sharing it!
